Condor, a German based airline, has ordered 16 Airbus A330-900neos as part of its fleet renewal plans. The first A330 is expected to arrive around September 2022, with all being delivered by mid-2024.
The airline has chosen the aircraft due to its efficiency and the ability to improve its customer experience. Currently the airline has a fleet of ageing Boeing 767s, which have an average age of 26 years old.
With our fleet modernisation we reach another milestone in our company’s history and take the next step towards the future.
We are introducing the two-litre aircraft into our operations and will be setting new standards: with our modern long-haul fleet, we will inseparably combine sustainability and holidays with Condor in future. On board the quietest cabin in the world on an aircraft of this size, our guests can also expect the highest level of comfort in a brand new Business, Premium Economy and Economy Class,”
said Condor CEO Ralf Teckentrup.
The airline will also introduce a new Business class seat and Premium economy on their A330neos.
Condor have created a website where customers can follow regular updates on the new aircraft.
