Delta Air Lines has ordered 25 more Airbus A321neos, along with bringing the delivery of 1 A330neo and 2 A350-900s forward.
The new order now brings Delta’s total firm A321neo orders to 125, the American carrier also added 25 purchase options for the type. The aircraft will begin being delivered in the first half of 2022 and feature the airlines latest domestic first class seat product.
Bringing forward the delivery of 3 wide body aircraft will help Delta during its post-pandemic recovery period, with the aircraft expected to be delivered in the second half of 2022. Last year Delta retired its fleet of 777s, with the retired types routes now being operated by A330s and A350s.
