Embraer Releases Aircraft Deliveries for Fourth Quarter of 2020

Last week, Brazilian aircraft manufacturer, Embraer released its aircraft deliveries for the fourth quarter of 2020.

The manufacturer delivered 71 aircraft. Here is the breakdown.

  • 28 commercial jets
  • 43 executive jets (of whom, 23 light and 20 large)

In total, Embraer delivered a total of 130 aircraft in 2020.

  • 44 commercial jets
  • 86 executive jets (of whom, 56 light and 30 large)

It is clear here that Embraer has done better in the executive aircraft market over the commercial.

In a press release, Embraer stated that although the deliveries accelerated in the fourth quarter, there has been a major backlog due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This backlog cost USD 14.4 billion.

The Belarusian flag carrier, Belavia took delivery of its first-ever E195-E2 aircraft.

Embraer Defense & Security delivered the fourth C-390 Millennium multi-mission medium airlifter to the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) in the fourth quarter.
