Emirates to Debut Premium Economy on London Heathrow Route

Recently Dubai based carrier, Emirates unveiled its much-anticipated premium economy class onboard the Airbus A380. Along with the new seat, Emirates also revealed a number of product enhancements on their latest A380.

From January 4th 2021, Emirates will deploy its latest aircraft, along with its new seat, on the airlines London Heathrow route.

A6-EVN will depart Dubai at 14:30 hours, arriving at 18:20 hours in London Heathrow as EK 3. The return flight departs London at 20:20 hours and arrives in Dubai the next day at 07:20 hours as EK 4.

Until more aircraft arrive with premium economy, which is not expected to occur until Mid-2021, Emirates will offer premium economy as an upgrade to customers. The final 5 Emirates A380s will arrive with the airline’s newest seat.

Currently, Emirates is serving 99 destinations worldwide.

According to Sam Chui in an interview with Emirates’ COO he was told, 55% of the Emirates fleet is expected to be retrofitted with the airlines new premium economy product.
